The Cre8 Programme combines group work to build confidence, self-esteem, and social skills with the concept of giving something back to the community. Beneficiaries can be self-referrals or referrals from other agencies.
Bird boxes and bat boxes have been produced to support the volunteer team at Slough Fort and further work carried out on the Hoo Peninsular. Future projects are planned with both Medway Council Adult Education and Richard Watts Charities, to improve various areas of Rochester. The huge sense of self-worth, individual and collective achievement, and camaraderie working as part of a team to give back to the wider community is phenomenal for everyone taking part. The lasting legacy of this area of work is immeasurable.
